All childhood, routine and foreign travel vaccinations are available. If you are travelling abroad, please arrange your vaccinations at least 8 weeks in advance. You will be required to complete a questionnaire to ascertain the correct vaccinations required for your foreign travel. Please ask for the documentation from reception, alternatively please complete the form below online.
Anti-malarials need to be directly purchased from a pharmacy.
Full maternity care is provided by the attached midwives in conjunction with the Practice Doctors. The midwives and doctors work closely with staff at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire Maternity Department.

These clinics are designed to help all our asthmatic patients achieve the optimum control of their condition through regular monitoring of their problems. The clinics are held by a GP/ANP/Practice Nurse. Monitoring and regular medication checks help maintain the highest standard of care for our patients. We aim to provide high quality care for all our diabetic patients, including those who need insulin and those that do not. The clinics are held by GPs and a Practice Nurse. We aim to provide regular reviews of our patients’ condition and optimise their care through these checks. Please ask for details of clinic appointments from our reception.
General nursing clinics are available at varying times throughout each day. Some of the things you may see a Practice Nurse or Health Care Assistant for are:

•Dressings
•Health checks
•Lifestyle advice
•Travel advice and vaccinations
•Seasonal influenza; pneumonia and other required vaccinations
Additionally, there are a variety of pre-booked appointments with the GPs in the mornings and afternoons. There are general nursing appointments that patients can pre-book into, but appointments for chronic diseases will be organised within the nursing team.
Please make use of the Pharmacy Ailment Service at your local chemist, who are also able to help with your minor ailments and prescribe medication.
