We do not take requests over the telephone unless you are housebound.
To order your repeat prescriptions you can:
•Log on to patient access
•Ask your local pharmacy (please note not available at all pharmacies)
•By letter through the postbox
Patient Access
Please make your requests as clear and concise as possible, giving the name of the medication you are taking, the dose, the amount you take a day and the total amount you have normally per prescription.
All prescriptions are computerised and are checked by the staff and then by the doctor so please allow 48 hours notice for the prescription to be ready for collection. We may do urgent prescriptions, where you have run out of your medication by accident the same day although this is not normal practice.
All prescriptions are processed within 48 hours.
